Depot Barbecue is 150 years in the making. The historic Madeira Train Depot was built in 1872, and it quickly became the community gathering place. Like many such train stations in small town America, the Depot no doubt hosted many community barbecues.
We honor that historic marriage of railroads and barbecue with Depot Barbecue. Here you will find favorite barbecue staples, from award-winning smoked meats, creamy macaroni & cheese and baked beans with bacon to vegetarian and lighter dishes to decadent desserts and soft-serve ice cream. Come in for a craft beer, pulled pork sandwich and cole slaw and you might find your toe tapping to blues, bluegrass or big band music.

Our New Smoker's Name: Sweet Georgia!
The winning entry in our Name the Smoker Contest is "Sweet Georgia!" The winners were Sean, Adam, Allison and Maria from Hyde Park.
Our smoker came all the way from Georgia, and we are excited to get it because it allows us to smoke all of our meats on site!
We fired up our smoker to bring you a new sandwich lineup that blends fresh ingredients with hickory-smoked meats.
Our Bourbon Ham & Swiss sandwich features tender slices of ham marinated in a Maker's Mark bourbon and brown sugar glaze, topped with swiss cheese and honey mustard, served on a honey bun. Only $6.50.
Our Chicken Chipotle & Pepper Jack marries hickory-smoked white meat chicken with crisp lettuce, tomato and chipotle mayo served on a honey bun. Only $7
The Sliced Turkey & Cranberry piles smoked turkey on a honey bun and tops it with our cranberry mustard spread. Add lettuce if desired. Only $8.
